1. About Your Igloo

Our Garden Igloos are weather-resistant, waterproof domes designed for year-round enjoyment.
Each one is professionally installed and furnished by our team to create a snug, stylish space for any occasion.

• Diameter: approx. 3.7 m

• Height: approx. 2.3 m

• Required space: 4 m × 4 m (clear, flat area)

• Fully waterproof (some natural condensation may occur)

• Furnished with cosy seating, soft lighting and an electric mock-fire

• Optional add-ons: projector, screen, themed décor, and more

 

2. Preparing for Installation

Before we arrive to set up your igloo, please make sure:

• The ground is flat, level, and clear of stones, furniture, or debris.

• You have at least 4 m × 4 m of space available.

• There is easy access to the site for our installation team.

• A power socket is available nearby if your igloo includes lighting, heating, or a projector.

 Top Tip: Position your igloo so the door is sheltered from strong winds and faces the best garden view.

 

3. Installation & Checks

Our team will handle the full setup, including furnishings and power connections.
Once installed, we’ll check that:

• The structure is secure and stable

• The cover is tight and weatherproof

• All electrical equipment is working properly

• You’re happy with the position and interior layout

After setup, we’ll walk you through using the door, lighting, heater and any extras (like the projector or speaker system).

 

4. Using Your Igloo

Staying Comfortable

• Keep the zip door closed to retain warmth.

• Open the zip slightly if you need fresh air or to reduce condensation.

• The igloo will warm up naturally in sunlight — on hot days, ventilate regularly.

Heating

• Your electric mock-fire adds warmth and ambience.

• Never use candles, barbecues, or open flames inside the igloo.

• Always switch off electrical items when not in use.

Enjoying Your Space

• Treat the furnishings and décor with care.

• If you’ve booked a movie night setup, connect your device via HDMI or Wi-Fi — we’ll show you how during setup.

• Feel free to add your own blankets, cushions, or snacks for extra comfort.

 

5. Safety Information

Your safety is our top priority. Please follow these simple guidelines:

Fire Safety

• Never use open flames or gas heaters inside the igloo.

• Keep all electrical items dry and away from water.

• Always unplug devices when finished.

Weather

• Our domes are built to handle typical UK weather.

• In very high winds or storms, please avoid using the igloo until conditions improve.

• Let us know immediately if you notice any damage or water ingress.

Access & Children

• The zip door opens easily from the inside — keep the entrance clear at all times.

• Always supervise young children or pets inside the dome.

 

6. Care During Your Hire

To keep your igloo in top condition:

• Remove shoes or use a doormat to keep the floor clean.

• Wipe up any spills promptly.

• Avoid dragging heavy or sharp items across the floor or sides.

• Do not move or attempt to dismantle the igloo — we’ll handle everything for you.

If anything gets damaged, please let us know as soon as possible so we can help.

 

7. End of Hire

We’ll usually collect your igloo the day after your event (Sunday unless otherwise arranged).

Before collection:

• Remove any personal items

• Make sure all supplied décor and furniture remain inside

• Leave the door zipped closed

Our team will take care of dismantling and packing up — no need to lift a finger.

 

8. Frequently Asked Questions

Is the igloo waterproof?
Yes — our domes are fully waterproof, though a little condensation is normal.

How many people fit inside?
Comfortably 4 adults for a movie night, or up to 6–8 children for a party.

Does it get warm?
Yes! The igloo traps heat naturally, plus the electric fire adds warmth. On very sunny days, open the door slightly to cool down.

What happens if the weather turns bad?
Our igloos are built for UK weather. However, if extreme wind or storms are forecast, we’ll discuss rescheduling or safety measures with you.

Can I decorate it myself?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to add your own personal touches — just avoid pins, tape, or adhesives on the dome itself.
